The list of the world’s best airports has been released in the latest ranking of 2025. It ranks based on the experience of passengers, quality of services and facilities.
The number 1 airport has been built in the world, Cape Town International Airport in South Africa, which got 8.57 out of 10. This is followed by Qatar’s Doha Hamad International Airport, which got 8.52 points and in third place is Riyadh King Khalid International Airport in Saudi Arabia, scoring 8.47 points.
GCC (important areas in terms of global connectivity) countries such as UAE, Qatar, Saudi, Oman, Kuwait and Bahrain have invested heavy in their airports. These airports are not only for passengers, but also for cargo (freight) and business transit.
Dubai International Airport scored 8.14 points, with a great score of 9.1 for food and shopping options. Abu Dhabi Airport got 8.11 points, especially for customer satisfaction (8.6) and facilities (8.7).
