Washington: America will give its most dangerous and latestay technology fighter jet F-35 to India. Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s US visit has opened the way for F-35 fighter Jet India. US President Donald Trump himself has said that his country will provide F-35 fighter aircraft to India. On defense cooperation from India, Trump said that India will soon be provided f-35 fighter jets. US President Trump said these things at a joint press conference with PM Modi.

Donald Trump said on Thursday that the US will further increase defense cooperation from India. In a joint press conference, he said that from this year we will increase India’s military sales of many billions of dollars. He said that Lockheed Martin F-35 Lightning II will also be made available to India.

The F-35 Stealth Fighter is a fifth generation fighter aircraft. Earlier this month, it participated in Asia’s largest aerospace and defense exhibition, the 15th edition of Aero India at Yelhanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru.

President Donald Trump announced after negotiating with Prime Minister Narendra Modi that Washington was paving the way for providing F-35 fighter aircraft to New Delhi as part of increasing military supply of billions of dollars. After having extensive talks with PM Modi, Trump said that there is a “special bond” among the oldest and largest democracy in the world and both sides have decided to increase cooperation in diverse fields such as energy, important technologies and connectivity.

Earlier, Trump welcomed PM Modi at the White House and described the Prime Minister as his “great friend” for a long time. The two leaders made brief statements to the media and answered several questions before sitting for important talks. The US President announced a new mutual tariff policy for all US business partners. This was the first meeting between the two leaders after President Trump took oath as the 47th US President on 20 January 2025.
