Tokyo: Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav has reached Japan on an official visit. The purpose of CM Yadav’s visit is to attract investment and strengthen economic relations. On reaching Japan, CM Yadav was warmly welcomed by the overseas Indians. His four -day visit is part of the ‘Investment in Madhya Pradesh’ launched last year. The campaign will end in ‘Invest Madhya Pradesh’- Global Investor Summit 2025 to be held in Bhopal on 24 and 25 February.
CM met important people in dialogue session
During his visit, CM Yadav met important people during the dialogue session in Okoo, Japan. CM Yadav posted on the social media forum X and said, “A condensed session was organized with Toshiuki Nakahara, Department General Manager of Administration and Assistance Department of Toyota Motor Corporation and Project General Manager Masahiro Nogi, in which possible under India and Middle East Division Business relations were discussed. In this meeting, special focus on commercial opportunities in Madhya Pradesh, where huge land, skilled youth workforce, excellent infrastructure and rapidly growing automobile sector are the major attractions.
Professional opportunities will increase for Madhya Pradesh
Let me tell you that during this visit, Chief Minister Mohan Yadav will hold many important meetings with major Japanese business institutions of various fields. The Chief Minister expressed confidence that many of these meetings will create commercial opportunities for Madhya Pradesh. Madhya Pradesh has strong business and investment relations with Japan. In FY 2023-24, trade between India and Japan reached US $ 22.85 billion, with Madhya Pradesh significantly contributed. The state exported about 9 million US dollars products to Japan. These include products such as aluminum, chemicals, machinery, medicines and clothes. CM Yadav will stay in Japan till 31 January.
