Pakistan landed on inferiority from border to cyber hacking, tried to fail again in front of India

by Rajeev Bansal
May 2, 2025

India has once again fallen victim to a double provocation of cyber attacks sponsored by Pakistan and cross -border firing. But like every time, this time also India’s cyber security agencies and the army responded with restraint and accuracy.

The Pakistani Army opened fire on the Line of Control (LOC) on the night of 1 May and the morning of 2 May. The Indian Army gave a balanced and a befitting reply to this in Kupwara, Baramullah, Poonch, Naushera and Akhnoor sectors of Jammu and Kashmir. The firing began after the April terrorist attack in which 26 innocent tourists were killed in Pahalgam.

Earlier, a new wave of cyber attacks was seen by Pakistan. Pak -backed hacker groups such as “HOAX1337”, “National Cyber Crew” and “IOK hackers” tried to target India’s public and welfare websites.

However, India’s layered and vigilant cyber security system identified and thwarted all these attacks in real time.

Major attacks were involved:

• Army Public School (APS) attempts to distort the websites of Nagrota, Sunjwan, Srinagar and Ranikhet and spread provocative messages.

• Attempts to make a dent in the Database of Army Welfare Housing Organization (AWHO).

• Targeting websites related to retired soldiers and ex -servicemen of the Indian Air Force.

• Tampering with the website of Army Institute of Hotel Management.

Some websites were distorted and mocked the victims of the Pahalgam terror attack, which reflect Pakistan’s fallen mentality and growing frustration. Especially when websites related to children and old soldiers were targeted, it became clear that Pakistan does not believe in any moral border.

All affected websites were immediately separated and restored. Important or classified networks were completely safe. These incidents of failure on both cyber and traditional fronts against India are a symbol of Pakistan’s splash. This is not only the victory of India’s cyber security capacity, but also makes it clear that India keeps restraint, but never back down in responding.
