Pakistan has also come on the backfoot due to India’s tough stance in the Pahalgam terror attack. Neighbors on Saturday offered to attend any “neutral and transparent” investigation of the attack, killing 26 people.
Prime Minister Shahbaz Sharif, while addressing the passing out parade of army cadets at Pakistan Military Academy in Kakul in Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, said, “The recent tragedy in Pahalgam is another example of this continuous fault game, which should be completely discontinued. Pakistan is ready to participate in any necklace, transparent and worldable investigation.
Talking about India to suspend the Indus Water Treaty, Sharif said that any attempt to prevent, reduce or divert Pakistan’s flow will be responded with full force and power.
Sharif threatened that if India stops their share of water, they would adopt all options. He said, “Water is our lifeline and it is an important part of national interest and its availability will be preserved at all costs and in every situation.”
He said that the whole country stands with the army of Pakistan so that one inch of the motherland can be protected. He said, “Our brave armed forces are capable of protecting the sovereignty and regional integrity of the country and are fully prepared against any audacity. Our armed forces are a symbol of bravery, exemplary discipline and unwavering commitment to the nation.”
The Prime Minister said, “Peace is our priority, but it should not be considered our weakness.” He said that “We will never compromise on our honor and security of the country.”
Sharif said, “Pakistan has always condemned all forms and expressions of terrorism.”
“We have suffered more than 90,000 people’s lives and economic loss of more than US $ 600 billion,” he said. He said that “our commitment that we will not tolerate any color and color terrorism” cannot be more powerful.
The Prime Minister said that he regretted that India has continued the tendency of exploitation without any reliable investigation or verificationable evidence by making a baseless allegations and false allegations.
Sharif said that Mohammad Ali Jinnah had called Kashmir a vein of Pakistan’s neck. He said that despite the United Nations’ proposals, “globally recognized dispute” is unresolved.
The Prime Minister said, “Pakistan will continue to support the rights of self -determination of Kashmiri people until they gain their rights through their great struggle and sacrifice.”
