Pakistan Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar
Islamabad: After the terrorist attack in Pahalgam, the atmosphere of fear in Pakistan is clearly visible. Amid the increasing tension from India, Pakistan has said that it has nothing to do with the Pahalgam terror attack. It has also been said by Pakistan that if it is provoked, it will react strongly. Foreign Minister Ishaq Dar has said this at a press conference with Army spokesman Lieutenant General Ahmed Sharif Chaudhary and Foreign Office spokesman Shafkat Ali Khan. Dar has also demanded an inquiry.
‘India made allegations without any evidence’
Minister Ishaq Dar said, “We are worried about the loss of life and property during the Pahalgam attack. We also express our condolences.” He said, “After the Pahalgam attack, India made allegations against Pakistan without any evidence and in such a dramatic manner. Pakistan has nothing to do with this and we have been saying this from the beginning. ” Dar read a written statement, saying, “Pakistan condemns all forms of terrorism. Could not make it appropriate for any reason or purpose to kill innocent people. ”
‘India is making inflammatory rhetoric’
Dar accused India of making inflammatory statements for the last few days and said that Pakistan believes in restraint. “However, in case of any aggressive action, Pakistan is firm to protect its sovereignty and regional integrity,” he said. Lieutenant General Chaudhary said, “We are ready, do not take our exam.”
Tension increased between India and Pakistan
A few hours before Dar’s press conference, Information Minister Ataullah Tarar warned of possible military action on behalf of India in 24-36 hours. Earlier, Defense Minister Khwaja Asif had said that despite the efforts of the international community to reduce tension, it is still increasing. The tension between India and Pakistan has increased after the death of 26 people in a terrorist attack on 22 April in Pahalgam in Jammu and Kashmir. (Language)
