Moscow: Russian President Vladimir Putin has apologized for the plane crash in Kazakhstan. He apologized to the President of Azerbaijan for the tragic incident of the Azerbaijani plane crash. Let us tell you that 38 people had died in this accident. Actually, this plane had flown from Azerbaijan’s capital Baku to Chechnya’s capital Grozny on Wednesday. In an official statement on Saturday, the Russian presidential office ‘Kremlin’ said that air defense systems fired near Grozny due to Ukrainian drone strike on Wednesday. However, it avoided saying that the plane was the target of Russian air defense system fire. Putin apologized to Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev “for the fact that this tragic incident occurred in Russian airspace,” the Kremlin said, citing details of a phone conversation between the Russian president and the Azerbaijani president. ‘
