Russia and Ukraine may soon increase peacekeeping, third round conversation is potential next week

Russia and Ukraine are going to pursue their peacekeepers soon. The third round of peace-holders between the two countries may begin next week. Kremlin spokesman Dimitri Peskov gave this information on Friday. Peskov said that Vladimir Medinski, an associate of Kremlin, who is leading the Russian delegation, is in contact with his Ukrainian counterpart.

The war between the two countries has been going on for about three years and so far thousands of lives have been destroyed. In these three years, no concrete talks had been held so far, but in May, both countries were seen to agree to stop this war. So far both countries have met in Istanbul twice. The first peacekeeper was on 16 May and the second on 2 June. However, the two countries have so far failed to find a concrete solution.

Russia says that it does not just want to stop this war, but wants to eliminate it completely. However, Russia has not agreed to return the Ukrainian regions that occupied during the war. At the same time, Ukraine believes that this is the most important issue for peacekeeping.

In recent times, attacks between the two countries have become more intense. On 1 June, Ukraine attacked a drone inside Russia, in which several Nuclear-Capable War Fleets of Russia were destroyed. Russia termed the attack as a terrorist attack and warned of serious consequences. After this, Russia has carried out several major air strikes on Ukraine.
