Sonepat. Haryana’s Sonipat police has exposed a gang who wanted to become rich quickly without working hard. Police has arrested all of them. The accused had looted a Scorpio driver.
According to the information, a robbery of Rs 40,000 from a four-wheeler driver and Rs 1,10,000 from a Scorpio car rider near village Barota in Sonipat has been revealed. The team of Crime Unit Kundli has arrested six accused in the case. The arrested accused have been identified as Ajay, Sombir, Sahil and Jatin, residents of Gohana and Krishna and Ashu, residents of village Rabhra.
In fact, Surajmal, a resident of Khanda Khedi village of Hisar, had told the Kundli police station on July 2 that he drives the IntraV-20 car of Sandeep, a resident of Shyam Vihar Colony of Hisar. He had come to Barota factory in the night to get bread. His helper Sube Singh, a resident of Khedi Pabra, was also with him. When he reached the dirt road near Barota Bread Factory at midnight, the youths in the car stopped his car and attacked him with sticks. During this, he and the helper were taken down and 40 thousand rupees were looted.
The miscreants also broke his mobile and the front windshield of the car. Similarly, on July 3, the accused had looted Rs 1 lakh from a Scorpio car at the same place. The victims had lodged a complaint at the Barota outpost of Kundli police station.
ACP Crime Rajpal said that two robbery cases were reported on 2nd and 3rd July. Vehicles coming to Harvest Bread Company located in village Barota were being targeted. First, a four wheeler was stopped and the driver and driver were beaten with sticks and 40 thousand rupees were looted. After that, the Scorpio car riders were also beaten with sticks and 1 lakh 10 thousand rupees were looted. The accused have revealed that they wanted to become rich quickly without hard work, that is why they used to commit robbery incidents.
