New Delhi. Every day some such cases are coming to light at the country’s largest and busiest Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGI Airport), which is creating panic. After getting input from Interpol, CBI has taken major action at IGI Airport. The investigating agency has seized a large consignment of drugs. With such cases coming to light continuously, concerns are also being raised about airport security. CBI has arrested an accused in this high profile case. The accused person is a German citizen of Indian origin. The investigating agency is now engaged in further investigation.
Actually, CBI had received input from Interpol that a drug smuggler was arriving in India with a large consignment of narcotics. After this, the team of the central investigation agency became alert at IGI Airport. According to the information received by the CBI, the person coming from Doha, the capital of Qatar, was about to land at IGI Airport by Indigo Airlines flight number 6E 1308. The agency team then gathered complete information about this flight and started waiting for the smuggler to arrive.

270 capsules in 2 toys
When the CBI investigated, it was found that the person was a German citizen of Indian origin. As soon as the suspected smuggler landed at IGI, the CBI took him into custody. During investigation, 2 soft toys were found with the person. When the toys were dismantled, 270 capsules were recovered from them. 6 kg of cocaine was found in them. The CBI team was also stunned to see this. CBI officials said that the accused person has been taken into custody and further investigation is being done.
Where was the consignment of drugs to go?
After this recovery, the biggest question that is arising is where was such a huge consignment of drugs to go? The CBI is trying to find out from where did the person bring such a huge consignment of cocaine and to whom was it to be handed over. Was the consignment of drugs to be handed over to someone or did he dispose of it himself? Along with this, it is also being investigated whether the accused person is a part of an international drug racket or not.
