Married persons cannot apply
Under the Indian Army’s Agniveer scheme, only unmarried candidates can apply in all three armies. Married candidates cannot apply for the posts of Agniveer. However, it should also be noted that both men and women can apply for many Agniveer posts. Under the Agniveer scheme, marriage is not allowed even during the 4-year service.

Can an 18 year old youth apply?
Age also matters a lot for applying under the Agniveer scheme. Many people have this question in their mind whether a youth of 18 years can apply for these posts or not, the answer to this is no. Because the age of the candidate for applying for Agniveer is determined from 17.5 to 21 years. Reserved categories will get relaxation in age limit.

Can’t apply without science?
No candidate can apply for Agniveer recruitment without studying science. For these recruitments, candidates must have passed 12th class with subjects like Mathematics, Physics and English. Not only this, it is mandatory to have 50% marks in 12th, apart from this, 50% marks in English subject are also required. In many Agniveer recruitments, an engineering degree is also required along with 50% marks.
