Mumbai. A major development has come to light from the Special Court of Mumbai on Friday in the case of firing outside the house of Bollywood star Salman Khan. The name of Lawrence Bishnoi gang has come to the fore behind this incident. The court has issued a non-bailable warrant (NBW) against Lawrence Bishnoi’s brother Anmol Bishnoi. Along with this, this warrant has also been issued against Rohit Godera, an alleged member of this gang.

The incident of firing outside Salman Singh’s house in Bandra came to light on 14 April. In this regard, earlier this month, the Crime Branch of Mumbai Police filed a chargesheet against Lawrence Bishnoi’s associates Godera and Anmol in the court. They have been declared absconding. Lawrence Bishnoi is currently lodged in Sabarmati Jail in Ahmedabad. According to the police, Anmol and Godera are in Canada. Salman Khan had recently recorded his statement in this case in front of the Mumbai Police Crime Branch. During this, he had accused the Lawrence Bishnoi gang of trying to attack him earlier as well.

Accepting the prosecution’s plea, Special Judge for Maharashtra Control of Organised Crime Act (MCOCA) cases BD Shelke issued a non-bailable warrant against Anmol and Godera. Six people have been arrested in this case. Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal allegedly opened fire outside Salman’s residence Galaxy Apartment in the early hours of April 14. Both of them, along with Sonu Kumar Bishnoi, Mohammad Rafiq Chaudhary and Harpal Singh, are currently in judicial custody. Another accused in this case, Anuj Kumar Thapan, allegedly committed suicide in police custody.
