Pune. Along with Maharashtra’s trainee IAS Pooja Khedkar, her mother Manorama Khedkar is also surrounded by controversies. She has been arrested on charges of threatening some people with a gun in a land dispute. When the police presented Manorama Khedkar in the court on Monday, she immediately applied for bail. But the judge immediately refused to grant her bail and sent her to judicial custody for 14 days.

Manorama Khedkar was arrested on July 18 from a lodge in Hirkaniwadi village near Mahad in Raigad district. A few days ago, a video went viral in which Manorama was seen threatening some people by showing a gun. This video is from the year 2023. It was learned that there was a dispute over land in a village in Mulshi tehsil of Pune. When Manorama Khedkar reached there, she tried to pressurize the people by showing a gun. As soon as this video went viral on social media, the police started searching for her. Her husband Dilip Khedkar also started being searched.

Serious charges like attempted murder
Pune Police registered a case against both of them under attempt to murder, display of deadly weapon, attempt to riot, criminal intimidation and Arms Act. Five more people were made accused. On Saturday, the police told the court that they have recovered the pistol and a car used in the crime. After this, the police became more strict. On July 18, the police also arrested Manorama Khedkar. After the police custody ended on Monday, she was produced in the court, from where she was sent to judicial custody for 14 days.

Strange allegations on trainee IAS
Strange allegations have been leveled against Pune’s trainee IAS officer Pooja Khedkar. The allegations are that she occupied the cabins of her seniors. She installed red lights on private cars. She used fake certificates for the job. She submitted a wrong disability certificate. Due to this, the government has called her back. She has been sent to the IAS Academy. The entire matter is under investigation. Meanwhile, the state government is also investigating the matter seriously.
