Mahindra Quanto
Mahindra launched this 7 seater Quanto in 2012 at a price of Rs 5.82 lakh (ex-showroom). It has a 1493 cc diesel engine, which generates power of about 100 BHP. It was a 5 door mini SUV. Its ground clearance was 180 mm and the total weight of the vehicle was 1640 kg. Mahindra discontinued the Quanto in 2020 after the BS6 emission norms came into force.
Nissan Evalia
Nissan Evalia was launched in 2012 at a price of Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom). It was an MPV that looked like a van. It had a diesel engine of 1461 cc. The Evalia mileage was 19.3 kmpl depending on the variant and fuel type. The Evalia was a 7 seater vehicle with a length of 4400 mm, a width of 1700 mm and a wheelbase of 2725 mm. In 2015, the company had to close it due to low demand.
Chevrolet Enjoy
Chevrolet Enjoy was launched in 2013. And in 2017 it was discontinued due to low demand. The company had launched it in the market with both petrol and diesel engine options. Its petrol variant was given a 1.4-liter 4-cylinder engine. Which gave power of 100 PS and torque of 131 Nm. The 1.3-liter 4-cylinder engine was given in the diesel variant. Which gave 75 PS of power and 172 Nm of torque. Both engines were mated to a 5-speed manual gearbox.
