Jeep has introduced its new Meridian SUV in India, ending the wait. The Jeep Meridian SUV has been introduced keeping the youth in mind, with a focus on safety and reliability. Jeep launched the Compass and Wrangler in 2021 and the Grand Cherokee and Compass Trailhawk are planned in 2022. The Grand Cheoki will be launched in the later parts of 2022.
The Meridian SUV comes mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and a 2.0-litre turbo diesel engine. It has been given a six-speed manual transmission. The SUV can accelerate to a top speed of 198 kmph and accelerate to 100 kmph in just 10.8 seconds. The Meridian SUV comes with front wheel and all-wheel drive options.
Jeep Meridian is a three-row SUV with 6 airbags in all variants. It has features like Android Auto and Apple CarPlay, 10.1-inch infotainment system, 360-degree park assist. Apart from this, 7 vertical grilles have been used with LED headlamps, DRLs, fog lamps and sunroof. It comes with 18 inch alloy wheels. Bookings for Jeep Meridian can start in May.
