Yamaha has also made all preparations to bring its electric two-wheeler in the Indian market. Earlier, where the company introduced the E01 and NEO electric scooter in the dealers meet. So now it has started testing in Thailand, Taiwan, Indonesia and Malaysia. According to reports, the proof-of-concept (PoC) planner for the Yamaha E01 Yasushi Nomura said that the electric scooter will be tested in Europe and Japan as well. It will also be tested on the highway in Europe. Now it is believed that the curtain can be lifted soon from its launch. The company introduced this e-scooter at the 2019 Tokyo Motor Show.
Will get a top speed of 100km/h
The design and seating of the Yamaha E01 will be almost identical to the Yamaha NMax. The E01 will get a 4.9 kWh lithium-ion battery, which will power an electric motor. This motor will generate 8.1 kW at 5,000 rpm and 30.2 Nm of torque at 1,950 rpm. It has been designed according to the daily work of the city. This electric scooter will give a range of up to 100km on a single charge. At the same time, its top speed will be up to 100 kmph. The Yamaha E01 e-scooter will be available in three driving modes namely Eco, Normal and Power along with reverse mode.

Will charge to 80% in 1 hour
According to the reports related to this e-scooter, it will get three charging options. Normal charger will be available from domestic purpose, which can be fixed on the wall. This will be a fast charger. With this the scooter will be charged up to 80% in an hour. At the same time, a portable charge will be provided with it, which will fully charge the scooter in about 14 hours on a supply of 110 to 240 volts. Talking about the features, the Yamaha E01 will also get a digital instrument console, Bluetooth connectivity and keyless start feature.
