TVS Motor’s most popular and stylish scooter Ntorq 125 has now reached the dealers. The company released its teaser two days ago. This teaser is of the XT variant of the scooter. After the teaser came, it was believed that its launch could also happen soon. In such a situation, when it has started reaching the dealers, then its launch seems to be near. Will get 124.8cc single cylinder engine
The new variant of the NTorq 125 will get a 124.8cc single cylinder air-cooled engine. It will generate 9.25bhp power and 10.5Nm peak torque. Its top speed will be 95km/h. It will accelerate from 0 to 60 km/h in 9 seconds. The ex-showroom price of NTorq 125 XT can be around Rs 90,000. Currently, there are four variants of this scooter Standard, Race Edition, SuperSquad Edition and Race XP. Its starting ex-showroom price ranges from Rs 77,106 to Rs 89,211.

Features with Bluetooth connectivity will be available
TVS’s SmartXconnect suite is also available in this scooter. This connects the rider’s smartphone. Features like missed call alert, message and turn-by-turn navigation are available on the screen display. The unit also provides information like last parked location assist, ride stats, lap timer and voice assist. It understands 15 voice commands. The scooter also gets an engine-kill switch, pass-by switch and high-speed alert. According to some reports, the ex-showroom price of this scooter can be around Rs 1 lakh.

The scooter will be equipped with advanced features
The NTorq 125 gets full LED headlight, turn indicator on the handlebar cowl, split grab rail, wide seat and LED tail light at the rear. TVS NTorq 125 comes with a fully digital instrument cluster. In which all the necessary information is available with built-in lap timer. The scooter has a boot space of 22-litres. Its ground clearance is 155mm. Its curb is 118 kg. In the Indian market, it competes with Suzuki Avnis 125, Yamaha RAZR, Honda Grazia 125 and Aprilia SXR 125.
TVS made a loss in March 2022
March 2022 was not good for TVS Motor. The company sold a total of 2,92,918 units of the two-wheeler, a decline of 4.8% last month. Whereas in March 2021 it sold 3,07,397 units. Talking about exports, the company exported 1,09,724 units of vehicles from India last month, while in March 2021 it exported 1,19,382 units. That is, there was a decline of 8.4% in exports.
