Ban will continue to write names on shops in Kanwar Yatra route: Ban will continue on the order to write names on shops in Kanwar Yatra route, Supreme Court also sought response from Uttarakhand and MP government

New Delhi. The ban on the UP government’s order to write the owner’s name on food shops located on the Kanwar Yatra route in Uttar Pradesh will continue for the time being. The Supreme Court has also sought a reply from the Uttarakhand government and the Madhya Pradesh government in this matter. The UP government urged to complete the hearing in this matter soon, otherwise the Kanwar Yatra will be completed. Now the Supreme Court will hear this on Monday, August 5.

While filing its reply in this matter in the Supreme Court today, the UP government also explained the reason for implementing this order. The UP government said that many times due to misunderstandings regarding the names of food shops on the Kanwar Yatra route, quarrels and tensions arise, hence this order was implemented with the aim of maintaining social harmony. After the implementation of this order, the UP government also presented some photographs of the shops as evidence in the court.

Through these photos, the government told that after this order it was found out that the name of the owner of Raja Ram Bhoj Family Tourist Dhaba is Wasim. Similarly, the owner of Pandit Ji Vaishno Dhaba is Sanwar and the owner of Rajasthani Khalsa Dhaba is Furqan. Due to these names of the shops, the Kanwariyas who go barefoot to offer water to Bhole Nath get confused and they eat food at these shops, which hurts their sentiments. However, the Supreme Court said that our order is clear that if a shopkeeper writes his name outside his shop on his own will, then he can do so, but under no circumstances can he be forced to do so.
