New Delhi: BJP MP from Godda Nishikant Dubey made a big statement in Parliament today regarding Bangladeshi intruders. He said that the number of Bangladeshi intruders is increasing in Bengal and Jharkhand. They are marrying tribal women. Not only this, he requested to make Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, Malda, Murshidabad, Santhal Pargana as Union Territories and demanded the implementation of NRC.
Where did 10% tribals disappear?
Nishikant Dubey said in the Lok Sabha, ‘When Jharkhand became a new state after separating from Bihar, the tribal population in Santhal Pargana was 36% in 2000. Today their population is 26%. Where did 10% tribal population disappear? This House never worries about them, it is engaged in vote bank politics. Our state government – JMM and Congress – is not taking any action on this. Infiltration from Bangladesh is increasing in our states. Bangladeshi infiltrators are marrying tribal women.
If my statement is wrong then I am ready to resign
Nishikant referred to the recent comment of the Jharkhand High Court. He said that riots broke out in Taranagar-Ilami and Daagapara of Pakur because people from Malda and Murshidabad are evicting our people. This is a serious matter. I am saying this on record, if I am wrong then I am ready to resign. Jharkhand Police is not able to do anything… Kishanganj, Araria, Katihar, Malda, Murshidabad should be made Union Territories, and NRC should be implemented. If nothing else, a House Committee should be sent there and the Law Commission’s 2010 report should be implemented that permission is necessary for religious conversion and marriage.
