Rajasthan’s most famous gangster Anandpal encounter case has now taken a new and interesting turn. The court has rejected a CBI closure report in the case. The ACJM CBI court has taken action against the 5 policemen involved in this encounter. The court has ordered prosecution and investigation against these policemen under section 302. SOG had encountered gangster Anandpal in Churu’s Malasar village on 24 June 2017.
Anand Pal’s body had injury marks on it
Let us inform you that gangster Anand Pal was killed in an encounter by the police on 24 June 2017. Gangster Anand Pal’s family had filed a case calling this encounter fake. Meanwhile, the CBI had submitted its closure report to the court in this case. The encounter was denied in this report, but Anandpal’s wife’s lawyer argued in court that injury marks were found on Anand Pal’s body. He said that it is clear from the report given by the police that Anandpal was shot from very close range, which seems to point towards a fake encounter.
The court has made the then Churu SP Rahul Barhat, the then Additional SP Vidya Prakash Chaudhary, DSP Suryaveer Singh Rathore and RAC Head Constable Kailash accused in the case. The court also did not accept the CBI’s closure report.
How was the gangster encountered?
Police had told the court that gangster Anandpal was killed in an encounter on 24 June 2017. Police had told that information was received from Anandpal’s associates that he was hiding in Salasar. After confirming the news, SOG laid siege to Anandpal’s hideout and tried to catch him. Police further told that as soon as the team reached close, Anandpal started firing at the team from the roof of the house. SOG fired in retaliation and killed him. According to the information, Anandpal was shot in the back. According to the police, about 8 to 9 crore rupees were spent in catching Anandpal.
