BJP is going to be in trouble! This party with 15 MPs is giving indication of going with India Alliance

The opposition is attacking BJP in Parliament. During the budget session, all the opposition parties including Congress-TMC attacked the government from all sides. They raised one issue after another and forced the government to answer. But since the BJP-led NDA has sufficient numbers in the Lok Sabha, it is believed that they will not face any problem in passing any bill in the coming days. But the matter will get stuck in the Rajya Sabha. Because the friends who have been saving BJP every time till now, helping it, are seen to be scattered this time. Now a new party with 15 MPs has indicated to go with the India Alliance. It is clear from this that BJP is going to be in trouble in the Rajya Sabha. It will have to resort to ‘jugaad’ to get any bill passed.

In the first session of the 18th Lok Sabha, we saw how the Biju Janata Dal, which had been a friend of the BJP for years, distanced itself. Not only did it distance itself, it was seen standing with the leaders of the India Alliance. BJD MPs were seen walking out of the House along with Congress and TMC MPs. They were seen blaming the government. Now we are witnessing a similar scene in the Rajya Sabha from Andhra Pradesh’s YSR Congress. This party led by Jagan Mohan Reddy is seen forming an alliance with the leaders of the India Alliance.

When many leaders of India Alliance came with Jagan
When Jagan Mohan Reddy came to Delhi to protest on Wednesday, many leaders of India Alliance came to support him. Even SP chief Akhilesh Yadav also joined his protest. On the other hand, Congress was also seen supporting this protest of YSR Congress. In such a situation, discussions in political circles intensified that YSR Congress can also be seen standing with India Alliance. And if this happens, it is certain that problems will increase for BJP in Rajya Sabha.

Will it change with the switch?
YSR Congress has only 4 MPs in Lok Sabha. Therefore, their joining India Alliance will not make much difference. But Jagan Mohan Reddy’s party has 11 members in Rajya Sabha. If these 11 members do not support NDA, then it will be difficult for BJP to pass the bill in Rajya Sabha. For this, let us understand what is the math of Rajya Sabha. Actually, recently 4 MPs retired in Rajya Sabha, due to which the number of BJP MPs has come down to 86. NDA’s strength in Rajya Sabha has come down to 101. Currently, there are 226 MPs in Rajya Sabha and the posts of 19 MPs are vacant. In such a situation, the magic number becomes 113. BJP will face a lot of difficulties in getting any bill passed. Earlier YSR Congress and BJD used to save them, but this time the situation is completely different.

Why is Jagan Mohan Reddy angry?
In fact, ever since the government led by Chandrababu Naidu has been formed in Andhra Pradesh, Jagan Mohan Reddy’s problems have increased. YSR Congress alleges that the Telugu Desam Party government has adopted a violent stance against their party. Their workers are being targeted. Their offices are being attacked. Their displeasure with the BJP is because the BJP is a partner in power with Chandrababu. Earlier, Jagan Mohan was hopeful that the BJP would help him, but now he seems to be hopeless. This is evident from his statements.
