New Delhi: While presenting the budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has made a big announcement for the tribals. She said, ‘Pradhan Mantri Janjati Unnat Gram Abhiyan will be launched to improve the socio-economic condition of tribal communities. This scheme will adopt saturation coverage for tribal families in tribal-dominated villages and aspiring districts. This will cover 63,000 villages which will benefit 5 crore tribal people.’

The amount of PM Mudra Loan Scheme has been doubled

In the budget, Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman has announced to increase the amount available under the PM Mudra Loan Scheme. Under the PM Mudra Loan Scheme, loans up to 20 lakhs will now be given. Earlier there was a provision to give loans up to 10 lakhs under this, which has now been increased. Let us tell you that the government implemented this scheme to connect the unemployed with employment. Under this scheme, earlier youth were given loans up to 10 lakhs for new employment. At the same time, the Finance Minister has now increased the loan limit to 20 lakhs.

At the beginning of the budget, the Finance Minister talked about focusing on the poor, women, youth and farmers. During this, she said that the free ration scheme will continue for the next 5 years. PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana has been extended for 5 years, which will benefit 80 crore people.
