The Modi government can also make many announcements because this year there are assembly elections in 3 states including Maharashtra.
There is a discussion about the budget that the Modi government can bring special schemes for unemployed youth. Apart from this, announcement of increasing the number of startups and recruitment to vacant posts of the central government can also be made in the budget. Some changes can also be announced in the Agniveer scheme to make it more attractive for the youth. At the same time, the budget is expected to focus on making women self-reliant. There may also be a scheme so that some amount can be given every month to women from the weaker sections of the society. At the same time, the Modi government can provide relief to the middle class by increasing the scope of tax exemption and changing the income tax slab. PM Narendra Modi has already announced that now senior citizens of 75 years or more from all sections will be given free health scheme under Ayushman Bharat. In such a situation, its announcement in the budget is considered certain. Samman Nidhi for farmers is also expected to be increased from Rs 6000 to Rs 8000 annually. Apart from this, the tax rates on purchasing agricultural equipment can be reduced.
Government employees can also get a gift in the budget. Government employees have been demanding the re-implementation of the old pension scheme for many years. It is being discussed that Finance Minister Sitharaman can announce in her budget to make the new pension scheme more beneficial. For this, it can be ensured that 50 percent of the last salary is given as pension in the new pension scheme. In the old pension scheme, only 50 percent of the last salary was given. Along with this, DA was given twice every year. There is no provision of DA every year in the new pension scheme. Also, there is no provision of pension of 50 percent of the last salary in it.
