Campbell Wilson has 26 years of experience in the Aviation Industry. Now Campbell Wilson will shape the future of Air India. Campbell Wilson, who started his career with Singapore Airlines in 1996, was working as a management trainee in New Zealand during that time. Later the company sent work to many countries like Canada, Hong Kong and Japan. After that he returned to Singapore in 2011 and remained the CEO of the company from the inception of Scoot till 2016. Scoot, a subsidiary of Singapore Airlines, provides low-cost service. Wilson was then appointed Senior Vice President Sales and Marketing at Singapore Airlines, where he handled Pricing, Distribution, E-Commerce, Merchandising, Brand & Marketing, Global Sales.
After this, the company once again gave him the responsibility of the post of CEO of Scoot Airlines in April 2020, which he handled well. Campbell Wilson has completed her studies from the University of Canterbury, New Zealand. In addition, he also holds a Master of Commerce degree in Business Administration. On being appointed as the CEO of the airline, Campbell Wilson said that ‘It is a great privilege for him to be part of the Tata Group and lead a brand like Air India.’ He further added that ‘Air India is now on a new journey to become the best airline in the world.
