New Delhi. The bitterness between former BharatPe founder Ashneer Grover and the company’s current CEO Suhail Sameer is well known and Ashneer has now threatened to drag his sister Ashima Grover to court for her remarks. Ashneer has written a letter in this regard to the board of BharatPe. Ashneer has said that the board should immediately issue a show cause notice to Suhail for this regrettable public behavior and send him on leave to manage the damage to the company’s brand image. He has also demanded the resignation of the company’s chairman Rajnish Kumar.
In fact, all this controversy started on Thursday when Ashima Grover, senior manager of MetLife, commented on a post posted by a BharatPe employee on LinkedIn. A Bharpe employee wrote on LinkedIn about non-payment of salary. To this Ashima commented, “It’s sad. ..shameless people. ,
Responding to this, Suhail wrote, “Your brother stole all the money. We have very little money to pay salaries. ,
Ashneer, upset with Suhail’s remarks, has said in a letter to the board that in the absence of a written apology, he and his sister are entitled to compensation and also have the right to take legal action against Suhail Sameer and Bharatpe Board.
