The plan to implement 4 labor codes in the country is now about to turn into reality. In fact, the central government has told that 90 percent of the states have drafted the rules of the labor code and they will be implemented soon. After its implementation, there is a possibility of changes in the rules ranging from salary, office timings to PF-retirement.

Working Timings: in the draft of the central government It has been proposed to increase the maximum working hours to 12. It is divided into 4-3 ratios every week. That means 4 days office, 3 days week off. In this context, the employees will have to work for 48 hours in 4 days i.e. 12 hours every day. It is also proposed to give half an hour’s rest to the employees after every five hours.
If someone is made to work more than 48 hours in a week, then it will be overtime, which will be paid by the company.

Basic pay should be 50% or more of the total pay. This will change the pay structure of most employees. With the increase in basic salary, your PF will also increase.
The increase in contribution to PF will increase the pension amount after retirement. Meaning the emphasis is on securing the future. Apart from this, provisions have been made for incentives, medical insurance and other facilities.
