How to apply for Voter ID
For this, first of all online enrollment has to be done. First of all one has to register by visiting the Election Commission website.

1. First of all visit the Voter’s Portal of Election Commission of India https://voters.eci.gov.in/.
2. Here on the homepage you will see the option of Login or Sign-up.
3. If you do not have an account then you will sign up, if you already have an account then you will login.
4. If you want to make a new Voter ID card, then you will first go to the box where New Registration For General Electors is written, then click on Fill Form 6.
5. After this Form-6 will be filled. There is a need to be careful while filling the form. Check every filled information carefully.
6. After this you will have to upload all the documents along with your photograph, original ID and address proof.
7. Check your given information and click on the Submit button.
8. After pressing the Submit button, your application will be submitted.
9. After this you will get a reference number through which you will be able to track your Voter ID.
10. After your Voter ID card is made or updated, you will get confirmation on e-mail or phone.
