The Union Home Ministry has sent Andaman Nicobar’s DGP Devesh Srivastava to Delhi. Delhi Police’s Special CP Crime Shalini Singh has been made DGP Puducherry. Delhi Police Traffic Police Special CP HGS Dhaliwal has been made DGP Andaman Nicobar. Let us tell you that earlier Devesh Chandra Srivastava was on the post of DGP of Andaman-Nicobar, from where he has now been sent to Delhi. Shalini Singh was in Delhi Police and Hargobindar Singh Dhaliwal was also working for Delhi Police.
Devesh Chandra Srivastava is a resident of Azamgarh
Let us tell you that Devesh Chandra Srivastava is a resident of Kolghat of Azamgarh Nagar Kotwali area. Before this, he has been the DGP of Andaman Nicobar and Mizoram. Let us tell you that Devesh Chandra Srivastava is a 1995 batch IPS officer. Before being made DGP, he was posted as Special Commissioner in the Economic Offenses Wing of Delhi Police. Let us tell you that in Delhi Police, he has served as Joint Commissioner of Police (South Delhi), Joint Commissioner Licensing, Intelligence Bureau and ONGC (on deputation).
Have given their services in many states
Devesh Chandra Srivastava is an alumnus of Madan Mohan Malaviya University of Technology, Gorakhpur. He took an engineering degree in Electronics and Communication Engineering from here in the year 1991. After doing BE from here, Devesh Chandra Srivastava passed the UPSC exam and was selected in the Indian Police Service. Earlier, he has served on important posts in many districts. Let us tell you that in June 2023, he was appointed DGP of Andaman Nicobar. During his tenure, he has served in Arunachal Pradesh, Goa, Delhi and Mizoram.
