Jaipur. Monsoon activity is continuously continuing in the eastern region of Rajasthan. This activity of monsoon has now started taking a toll on this area. Due to heavy rains, Dausa district of this area is now surrounded by water from all sides. Many villages there are surrounded by rain water. People are imprisoned in their homes. Apart from Dausa, heavy rain has been recorded in many areas of Banswara, Kota, Bharatpur and Bundi districts. The Meteorological Department has again warned of very heavy rain in Tonk, Bhilwara and Ajmer districts of eastern Rajasthan today. Along with this, a heavy rain alert has been issued in 11 districts including Jaipur.
According to the Meteorological Department, the monsoon trough line is in its normal state. A low pressure area is formed on the coast of Bay of Bengal, Bangladesh and West Bengal. Due to this, heavy rains are expected in many areas of the state. Due to the effect of this system, monsoon is expected to remain active in eastern Rajasthan for the next one week. Due to this, the period of rain will continue. During this time, heavy rains may occur in some districts of Kota and Udaipur divisions in this area and very heavy rains in some.
There is a possibility of rain in western Rajasthan between 29 and 31 July
According to the Meteorological Department, moderate to heavy rains may occur in many areas of Bharatpur, Jaipur, Ajmer, Bikaner and Jodhpur divisions during this period. Rainfall activities will increase between 29 and 31 July in some areas of Jodhpur and Bikaner divisions of western Rajasthan. Due to this, there are chances of heavy rains in some districts. Due to rain, the temperature remains normal. Bikaner was the hottest city in Rajasthan on Friday. The temperature there was recorded at 40.1 degree Celsius.

Heavy rain fell in these areas of Rajasthan
According to the Meteorological Department, in the last 24 hours till 2 pm on Friday, very heavy rain has been recorded in many areas of the state. These include 157 mm rain in Kesarpura of Banswara, 150 in Kumbhalgarh, 138 in Sallopat, 129 in Kanwas of Kota, 125 in Januthar of Bharatpur, 119 in Vaira and 120 mm rain in Nainwa of Bundi. Apart from this, heavy rain occurred in many areas. Today, there is a possibility of rain in the whole of Rajasthan except Barmer and Jaisalmer. Yellow alert has been issued for very heavy rain in three districts, heavy in 11 districts and normal rain in the rest.
