Admissions to undergraduate courses in central universities for the academic session 2022-23 will be on the basis of Common University Entrance Test (CUCET). The National Testing Agency (NTA) which conducts the exam has declared the date to apply for the exam. The application process for CUET will start from April 2 and will continue till April 30. In a public notice issued by the NTA, it has been announced that CUCET will provide an opportunity to the students seeking admission in Central Universities across the country. CUCET (UG)-2022 will be conducted in computer based exam format. The notice states that the syllabus details of the universities will be available on their respective portals. If a university allows previous years students of class 12th to take admission in the current year, then such students will also be eligible to appear in CUCET 2022. The online application form for undergraduate courses will be filled which will start from April 2 and its form will be available on the official website. The application process will continue till April 30.
CUCET (UG)-2022: NTA issues IMP notice regarding Common Entrance Test for undergraduate admission
The exam will have four parts. Includes Section-1 (13 Languages), Section-1B (19 Languages), Section-2 (Special Subject) and Section-3 (General Investigation). It is mandatory to choose an option from each of the clauses, the notice said. A candidate can choose a maximum of three languages from Section-1A and Section-1B simultaneously. Section-2 will have 27 subjects, in which a candidate can choose a maximum of six subjects, while Section-3 will have general test. The public notice states that all the questions will be of class 12th level.
