NEET UG candidates have started trending NEET UG 2022 on Twitter, demanding postponement of the exam till September. Let us tell you, the candidates are demanding to postpone the exam due to lack of time for the exam preparation. Moreover, the candidates are saying that the board exam will end in June. Hence, they will have very less time to prepare for NEET UG 2022. In such a situation, we want that the examination should be postponed.
Let us tell you, the date of NEET exam was clashing with JEE Mains exam. So the National Testing Agency (NTA) had changed the exam date. Now #PostponeNEETUG2022 is trending on Twitter.
At the same time, the National Testing Agency (NTA) has not yet issued any statement regarding the postponement of the examination. Candidates are advised to keep a close watch on the official website of NTA for latest updates and correct information.
Candidates kept their point
– Candidates have claimed that they do not have enough time to prepare for NEET 2022 and 2 months is not enough with board exams. Further, they have argued that JEE Mains 2022 has been postponed despite candidates having more time and more effort to prepare. Though NEET 2022 exam is such that there is only one attempt yet proper time is not given to the students.
Let us tell you that NEET is the only entrance exam for undergraduate medical courses in India. Every year, around 15 lakh medical aspirants appear for this highly competitive exam. With the removal of age restriction by the National Medical Commission (NMC), the number of applicants for the test is expected to increase this time.
This will be the exam pattern
The NEET entrance exam will consist of 200 Multiple Choice Questions (four options with one correct answer) from Physics, Chemistry and Biology (Botany and Zoology). 50 questions from each subject will be divided into two sections (A and B). Duration of the exam will be 200 Minutes (03 Hours 20 Minutes) from 02:00 PM to 05:20 PM (IST)
The exam will be conducted in English, English and 11 other regional languages. This time, there is no upper age limit for appearing in NEET. Earlier it used to be 25 years for general and 30 years for reserved category candidates
