Delhi University is going to complete 100 years of its establishment on May 1. DU is preparing to celebrate it in a big way. It will be organized in DU on May 1 in the presence of other dignitaries including the Vice President, Union Education Minister. According to the information received, DU was formed on May 1, 1922.
On the centenary day, a commemorative coin worth Rs 100, a commemorative centenary stamp, a memorial centenary section, a historical visit to the University, a description of the historical places achieved by the University of Delhi and its achievements will also be displayed. In addition, the Vice President will also launch the Centenary website, which will act as a digital journey down the memory lane. Kritika Khichi, a student of Gargi College, who designed the logo of the centenary will also be honored. A 100 second documentary on the life of the University will also be unveiled at the ceremony. The details of the program of the opening ceremony will be available on the website of the University i.e. www.du.ac.in.
Webinar for admission in reserved category in DU
Under the Common University Entrance Test in Delhi University, DU did a webinar on Friday regarding how to apply for reserved category students and on what basis their admission will be done later. In this, the Dean Admission and other officials informed the students about the method of application and certificates etc. The candidates were asked to read the instructions issued by NTA and DU before applying. If there is any problem in the application, students can contact by mail on the mail id given on the website. Keeping in mind the difficulties of admission, DU has decided to conduct more webinars in the coming time.
11th 12th students will find solutions to problems
New Delhi (Ph.No.). Indian Institute of Technology Delhi is going to organize a boot camp for class 11th and 12th students. This camp will run from 23rd May to 24th June. In this, students will find solutions to the problems of the society through technology. Looking after this project in the institute, Prof. Jai Dhariwal says that there is a lot of curiosity in the students of 11th and 12th. He can use his skills to do better work for the society.
