Exam will be in 13 languages
Through this exam, admission is given in UG courses in various universities of the country. Based on the NCERT class 12th syllabus, this exam is divided into four sections. In Section 1A and Section 1B, candidates will be asked language related questions. At the same time, the second section will have domain related questions and the third section will have questions related to general knowledge. The third section will have 75 questions, out of which 60 questions will be compulsory. Whereas, in other section candidates will have to attempt 40 questions out of 50. This time the exam will be conducted in 13 languages including Hindi, English, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, Gujarati, Bengali, Punjabi, Urdu, Oriya and Kannada.

Recently, UGC Chairman Jagdish Kumar has said that this examination can be conducted twice a year from the next session.
