Many important decisions were taken in the Executive Council held in Lucknow University on Tuesday. Along with Lucknow, in 84 colleges in four new districts Hardoi, Sitapur, Lakhimpur, Rae Bareli, various courses were given permanent-temporary recognition. Along with this, six new degree colleges were also recognized in Lucknow. Till now there were 155 affiliated colleges in Lucknow. Now with the addition of six new colleges, the number of affiliated degree colleges has gone up to 161. 18 aided degree colleges are also affiliated to LU.
Vice Chancellor Prof. Alok Kumar Rai informed that in the meeting of the Executive Council, 36 of Lucknow, 10 of Hardoi district, 17 of Sitapur district, 09 of Rae Bareli district and 12 of Lakhimpur Kheri district, thus permanent/temporary provision of various courses in total 84 colleges. Affiliation granted. Out of which 6 new colleges of Lucknow district have been given affiliation.

new ordinance approved
In the meeting, the problem being faced in the conduct of PG courses for the affiliated agricultural colleges has been removed. In the meeting, a new ordinance for the operation of agriculture courses was approved. The university has passed the ordinance of MSc Agriculture on April 2.
Hackathon: The Team That Created Drone Detection Winner
Smart India Hackathon-2022 was organized for the students at LU. Seven teams took part in various competitions. The first place went to The Innovators who worked on Project Drone Detection. The teams put forth ideas, and solutions for the problems posed by the Smart India Hackathon. The problems raised by the students include virtual chatbot for AICTE, app for AICTE, recent changes in healthcare trends, mass mailing, especially in psychology.
