The BJP government of Karnataka seems to be surrounded in the case of Santosh Patil’s murder. A case has been registered against Karnataka government minister KS Eshwarappa and his associates Basavaraj and Ramesh in this case. A separate FIR has also been filed against the minister in this case. Not only this, CM Basavaraj Bommai has also summoned him. Bommai said, ‘AIR has been registered against Eshwarappa. I am taking all the information. I will talk to Eshwarappa on phone and call him. At present, an FIR has been registered.

According to the latest information, many ministers in the government also want Eshwarappa to resign from his post. It is for CM Basavaraj Bommai and the party to decide whether to accept Eshwarappa’s resignation or not. A case of abetment to suicide has been registered against Eshwarappa and his associates. This case has been registered in Udupi on the complaint of Santosh Patil’s brother Prashant. Eshwarappa was accused of corruption by Santosh Patil.
Santosh’s brother alleges, Eshwarappa is responsible for death
On Tuesday, Santosh Patil was found dead at a lodge in Udupi. Santosh Patil’s brother has blamed minister Eshwarappa for his death. Prashant Patil said, ‘Eshwarappa is responsible for my brother’s death. He had demanded a bribe from Santosh. Thereafter, a defamation case was filed against him. Patil was also threatened. It is alleged that before committing suicide, Santosh Patil had messaged his friends on WhatsApp that he was going to give his life and blamed Eshwarappa for this.
Santosh Patil had told his wife to go on a picnic
According to police, Santosh Patil had told his wife that he was going on a picnic with his friends and had left on April 11. There was no information about him since then. Then his body was found at the lodge in Udupi. Two of his friends also stayed in the same lodge, but they were in different rooms.
