NEET UG 2022: The National Testing Agency (NTA) on Wednesday released the schedule for the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test- Undergraduate (NEET UG 2022), which will be conducted on July 17. This year, some changes have been made in the medical entrance; Age limit removed, exam duration and application fees increased, new exam centers added.
NEET UG 2022 application process has started from April 6, candidates can apply till May 6 on the official website- neet.nta.nic.in. NEET will be conducted in 13 languages including English, English, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Oriya, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu and Urdu.

NEET UG 2022: List of changes made in medical entrance
1- Age limit removed
Upper age limit for appearing in medical admission- NEET UG 2022 has been removed. Last year, the upper age limit was 25 years for general category candidates and 30 years for reserved category candidates.
2- Increase in application fee
This year the application fee for NEET UG 2022 has been increased. The application fee for general category has been increased to Rs 1,600 from Rs 1,500 last year. Candidates from outside India will have to pay Rs 8,500, which was Rs 7,500 last year. The application fee for reserved category candidates is EWS/OBC- NCL- Rs.1,500, SC/ST- Rs.800.
3- Increase in exam duration
National Testing Agency has extended the exam duration for NEET UG 2022. Students will now get 20 more minutes to solve NEET paper, NEET will now be of 200 minutes (3 hours and 20 minutes). The number of questions in NEET paper will be 180.
4- Added New Exam City
This year, new exam cities have been added for NEET UG 2022. NEET 2022 will be conducted in 543 cities across India and 14 exam centers outside India. NEET UG 2022 will be conducted in 12 countries abroad. The countries are – United Arab Emirates (UAE), Thailand, Sri Lanka, Qatar, Nepal, Malaysia, Kuwait, Nigeria, Bahrain, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore.
