England vs West Indies 3rd Test: A three-Test series is being played between England and West Indies. The England team has already taken an unassailable 2-0 lead in the series. Now the third Test match between the two teams will be played in Birmingham from July 26. England has announced its playing eleven for the third Test match. England has not made any changes in the playing eleven. Only those 11 players have been included who played in the second Test match.
400 plus runs were scored in both the innings in the second test
England won the first Test by an innings and 114 runs. Apart from this, in the second Test, England defeated West Indies by 241 runs. In the second Test match, Joe Root, Ollie Pope and Harry Brook scored centuries for England and due to these players, England was able to win the match. England did this for the first time when it scored 400 plus runs in both innings of a Test match.
Kevin Sinclair is out of the third Test
On the other hand, the West Indies team has suffered a major setback in the third Test match. Its spin all-rounder Kevin Sinclair has officially been ruled out of the Edgbaston Test. He was injured by Mark Wood’s ball in the second Test. Gudakesh Moti has got a chance in the squad as Sinclair’s replacement. While it seems difficult for West Indies’ young fast bowler Shamar Joseph to play due to flu. If he is unable to play, Akeem Jordan may get a chance in his place.
