There was a lot of controversy some time back regarding Ajay Devgan’s film ‘De De Pyaar De’. A case was registered regarding a stunt in this film. Now the Ajmer Consumer Court has given its verdict after hearing on this matter on Monday. And Bollywood actor Ajay Devgan has got rid of this matter.
What was the whole matter: In the year 2019, a person resident of Ajmer had filed a case in the Consumer Commission. In which he said that after seeing the stunt scene mentioned in the poster of the film ‘De De Pyaar De’ produced by Luv Productions, he went to see the film, but the scene mentioned in the film’s poster was not in the film. The person had blamed Love Films Production, actor Ajay Devgan and Ajmer’s Maya Mandir Cinema for showing wrong advertisements, along with that he also paid Rs 4 lakh 51 thousand for wrong business practices and mental damage caused by it and as a complaint. Demanded to get 11 thousand of the expenses.
Ajay Devgan had said logic: After getting the notice, actor Ajay Devgan gave his argument saying that he only acted in the film. He is not responsible for the promotion of the film and the actor through his lawyers has filed an application in the consumer forum asking for the case to be dismissed.
Now the court has given the verdict: Ajmer Consumer Court has given its verdict on Monday after hearing the arguments from both the sides. The court said that Ajay Devgan is just an actor. Which scene to keep in the film, which one is not, what kind of posters to put, which ad to give, all these things have nothing to do with the actor. The commission has issued orders to drop the case against Ajay Devgan.
