A case has been registered against actor and director Mahesh Manjrekar under IPC sections 292, 34, POCSO sections 14 and IT sections 67, 67B for showing obscene scenes with minor children in his Marathi film. Along with this, the court has also ordered an inquiry in the matter. The Maharashtra Police informed the news agency about this.
Film director Mahesh Manjrekar’s troubles are increasing since the Marathi film released last month. Two complaints have been filed against Mahesh Manjrekar since the film’s release. Under this, the first complaint has been registered in the Bandra Magistrate Court in Mumbai and the second in the Mumbai Sessions Court.
Apart from this, a Public Interest Litigation was also filed against the filmmaker in the Nagpur Bench of the Mumbai High Court.Significantly, this Marathi film by Mahesh Manjrekar was released on January 14 this year.
