New Delhi. The Mumbai Crime Branch team investigating the firing case outside the house of Bollywood actor Salman Khan has achieved great success. The Crime Branch team, on the instructions of the arrested accused, has recovered two pistols, four magazines and 17 live cartridges from Tapi river in Surat, Gujarat. It was from these pistols that firing was done outside Salman’s house. Shooters Vicky Gupta and Sagar Pal, arrested in this case, had told the Crime Branch during interrogation that the shooters had thrown the pistol and magazine in the Tapi river in Surat while going to Bhuj in Gujarat. Since then, with the help of divers, the police was searching for the weapons thrown in the Tawi river. Both these pistols belong to the shooters of Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

Let us tell you that on the morning of April 14, two bike-riding youths ran away while firing outside Salman Khan’s house. At the time of the incident, both the shooters had hidden their faces so that they could not be identified through CCTV. However, due to the alertness of the Crime Branch, both the accused have been arrested. Earlier, Maharashtra Chief Minister Eknath Shinde had visited Salman Khan’s house and met him and his family.
During this, the CM had assured full security to Salman and his family. Later, while talking to journalists, CM Shinde had said that the government is with Salman and his family. This incident will be thoroughly investigated and such strict action will be taken against whoever is involved that no one would dare to do this against anyone in Mumbai again. Regarding Lawrence Bishnoi, Shinde said that we will eliminate him. We will not allow bullying by anyone here in Maharashtra.
