After the 2002 Gujarat riots, activist Teesta Setalvad had hatched a conspiracy to defame Narendra Modi, who was the Chief Minister of Gujarat. The SIT on Friday said that Teesta was involved in a major conspiracy to topple the BJP government in Gujarat. Teesta had taken 30 lakh rupees for this from the late Congress leader Ahmed Patel, who was the political advisor to Congress interim president Sonia Gandhi. The SIT team probing the role of Teesta in the Gujarat riots has said this in the affidavit given in the court. Now filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri has taken a dig at this.
Vivek Agnihotri tweeted: Bollywood filmmaker Vivek Agnihotri tweeted, I hope that soon we also get to know who funded the anti-CAA Shaheen Bagh and farmers movement. Why were Bollywood stars a part of it? With this, the filmmaker further wrote that all the crowns will be thrown… all the thrones will be dropped… we will see.
Users gave reactions: Many users have reacted to Vivek’s tweet. A user named Vijay wrote that start work on Teesta Setalvad case also, a good film can be made. A user named Manmohan wrote that after the killing, anyone who will accuse anyone, who has funded the Kashmir Files, will speak up a little, hope that soon we will also come to know.
One user wrote that how many files you have to create in your lifetime to expose Urban Naxals. Dr. APJ Kalam was named ‘Missile Man’. Today I affectionately call you the ‘Files-man’. A user named Vishal wrote that it will happen sir, it is just a matter of few days. CAA and NRC laws will be implemented in the country. As soon as Teesta gets the verdict, soon all the traitors will be behind bars. Jai Hind.
I hope sometime soon we will also get to know who funded anti-CAA – Shaheen Bagh and Farmer’s protests. Why Bollywood stars were part of it?

Setalvad was arrested a day after the Supreme Court last month upheld the clean chit given to the then Chief Minister Narendra Modi and others in the Gujarat riots case. A case was registered against him under sections 468 (forgery) and 194 (giving false evidence with intent to secure punishment for capital offence) of the IPC.
