The Board of Governors of the Academy held a meeting regarding the sentencing of Will Smith, after which a decision has been taken to ban him from the Oscars for 10 years.
Will Smith himself apologized

Will Smith later apologized for this and told that Will was making fun of his wife’s health condition, due to which he became very emotional.
