Former Agniveers will get reservation in UP and MP: Former Agniveers will get reservation in police and PAC recruitment in UP and MP

New Delhi. On the occasion of Kargil Day, Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath and Madhya Pradesh CM Mohan Yadav have announced reservation in jobs for former Agniveers. Yogi announced that after the Agniveers finish their service in the army, they will be given priority in UP Police and PAC recruitment. However, how much reservation will be given for which job has not been announced yet. Recently, the states of Uttarakhand and Haryana also announced to provide reservation and other facilities to former Agniveers.

UP Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the youth are very enthusiastic about the Agniveer Yojana. 10 lakh Agniveers are coming forward to serve in the Indian Army. Unfortunately, for some political parties, their own politics has become bigger than the country. They want to do politics at the cost of the country. Their job is to create hurdles in every progressive work, create unnecessary obstacles, provoke people, mislead them. Such acts have been continuously done by the opposition parties. The opposition has also tried to mislead the people of the country on issues like Agniveer. We should move forward with this army reform of Prime Minister Modi and the Government of India, considering national security as paramount.

Let us tell you that the Central Government had also announced to give 10 percent reservation to former Agniveers in the Central Armed Forces and Assam Rifles. Along with this, relaxation in age limit and physical test for the post of constable and rifleman was also announced by the Home Ministry. Railway Protection Force has also previously announced to provide relaxation in age and physical efficiency test for former Agniveers.
