Gold Price Today on 25th July 2024 : Since the budget, the fall in the prices of gold and silver is not stopping. Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman had announced the reduction of custom duty on gold and silver in the full budget presented on July 23. Since then, the prices of these precious metals have been falling continuously. On Thursday also, gold and silver were seen trading with a decline in the domestic market. Gold has become very cheap
On Thursday evening, on the MCX exchange, gold for delivery on August 5, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 67,849 per 10 grams with a drop of 1.60 percent or Rs 1103. At the same time, gold for delivery on October 4, 2024 was seen trading at Rs 68,215 per 10 grams with a tremendous drop of 1.78 percent or Rs 1237.
There was a huge drop in silver too
Along with gold, silver prices have also seen a huge decline. On Thursday evening, silver for delivery on 5 September 2024 was seen trading at Rs 81,147 per kg on MCX exchange, down by 4.41 per cent or Rs 3747.
Global gold prices fell
Global gold prices have also seen a decline on Thursday evening. On Comex, gold was seen trading at $2,416 an ounce with a huge drop of 1.95 percent or $48. At the same time, the price of gold spot was seen trading at $2367 an ounce, falling 1.25 percent or $30.
Global prices of silver also fell
Global silver prices on Comex were trading at $27.75 per ounce on Thursday evening, down 5.36 percent or $1.57. On the other hand, silver spot prices were trading at $27.57 per ounce, down 4.63 percent or $1.34.
