Weather Rain Update Today: Heavy rain is falling in many parts of the country at this time. Heavy rain has occurred in the morning in the country’s capital Delhi and surrounding areas NCR. Meanwhile, the Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued an alert of heavy rain in Madhya Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Maharashtra, Andhra Pradesh, Gujarat and Delhi in the coming days. Heavy rain with strong winds is expected in Gujarat for the next 4 to 5 days.

The Meteorological Department has issued a red alert for the eastern coastal region and northern parts of the western coastal region, an orange alert for central India and western peninsular region and a yellow alert for North India, which will remain in effect. There is a red alert for very heavy rain in Porbandar, Dwarka and Girsomnath in Saurashtra today. Heavy to very heavy rain is expected in Kutch, Jamnagar, Rajkot, Amreli and Bhavnagar. Heavy rain is expected especially in Saurashtra region including Porbandar, Jamnagar, Dwarka and Junagadh.

Delhi’s climate
According to the Meteorological Department, the national capital Delhi is likely to remain cloudy and there is a possibility of light drizzle with thunder. There may be humid heat on Sunday. However, the weather will change once again from tomorrow and it will rain in Delhi. The Meteorological Department has also issued a yellow alert for three days from tomorrow. Let us tell you that Delhiites are facing humid heat even in monsoon. IMD has issued a yellow alert for rain from 22 to 24 July.

condition of other states
The Meteorological Department has warned of heavy rains in Gujarat, Madhya Maharashtra, Goa, Konkan, South Interior Karnataka and coastal areas for the next four days. Kerala and Mahe will receive rain till July 21, Yanam and coastal Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Nadu may receive rain on July 20 while Madhya Pradesh is likely to receive rain from July 21 to 23. Odisha, North Interior Karnataka, Madhya Pradesh, Odisha, Vidarbha and North Interior Karnataka may receive heavy rains in the next few days.

Apart from this, rain is expected in Jharkhand, West Bengal and Marathwada on July 20. In the coming four days, heavy rains are expected at isolated places in Arunachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Assam, Manipur, Nagaland, Tripura and Mizoram in the Northeast India region.
