  • Children aged 4 to 12 months – 12 to 16 hours
  • Children aged 1 to 2 years – 11 to 14 hours
  • Children aged 3 to 5 years: 11 to 14 hours
  • Children aged 6 to 12 years – 9 to 12 hours
  • 13 to 18- 8 to 10 hours
  • After 18 years – at least 7 hours
  • After 60 years – sleep can be increased by 8 hours i.e. 1 hour.
