IND vs SL: Team in trouble before T20 series
India vs Sri Lanka T20 Series: The three-match T20 series between India and Sri Lanka is now near. Dilshan Madhushanka enters the team in place of Nuwan Tushara
Sri Lanka’s T20 team has suffered another setback. Fast bowler Nuwan Tushara has also been ruled out of the series against India. Dilshan Madhushanka has been included in the team in his place. Tushara is the second Sri Lankan fast bowler to be ruled out of the series. Earlier, Dushmantha Chameera was also ruled out. It is said that Tushara suffered an injury to his left thumb while fielding on Wednesday evening. After this, it was not thought that he would be able to recover soon, after which it was decided to exclude him from the series.
Tushara is constantly getting out of the team
Tushara came into the limelight due to his slingy action during SA20, where he played for MI Cape Town and managed to take eight wickets in five matches. Recently, his performance in the LPL i.e. Lanka Premier League was not very good. Where he played for Dambulla Sixers. He took eight wickets in seven matches for them. Madhushanka also played for Dambulla Sixers in the LPL, but he took only two wickets in six matches. Due to injury, he also missed the IPL earlier this year and did not play for the Sri Lankan team in the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup played last month.
