It should be written on the blood pouch whether it is of a Hindu or a Muslim: Maulana Tauqeer

Bareilly. The Supreme Court has stayed the UP government’s order regarding nameplates on the Kanwar Yatra route. Maulana Tauqeer Raza, head of Bareilly’s Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC), has reacted to this. He said that the decision given by the Supreme Court is absolutely correct. I welcome that decision. This decision of the government was taken with the intention of harming the Muslims.

In an exclusive interview with IANS, he said, “The main thing is what is the motive behind writing the name? The Supreme Court has banned that order, but our view is that we look at things from both a positive and negative perspective. Which decision of the government can cause harm to the society and the country? Or which decision can benefit us? It is our responsibility to look at these things. I felt that this decision was made with the intention of harming the Muslims. The court realized this and cancelled this decision.”

He further said, “I believe that Muslims do not hide their identity as per religion. A Muslim should look like a Muslim. They do not need to hide their identity, face and manner. I believe that a Muslim who is hiding his identity due to business or due to fear, has a weak faith.”

Tauqeer Raza said, “I want to see whether the Muslims who started writing their names on their shops and industries after Yogi ji’s decision, write their names on their shops and industries after the court’s decision or not? If they do, it means that they are not hiding under any fear or pressure. Muslims should not hide themselves, but should say with pride that they are Muslims and we are Indians. Then things will work out.”

He further said, “If a person is selling fruits on a cart, will he write his name on the cart? I say that Prime Minister Modi and Chief Minister Yogi should order the blood banks that whoever donates blood, it should be written on the pouch whether it is the blood of a Hindu or a Muslim. Which religion does he belong to? Which caste does he belong to? When people are saving each other’s lives by donating blood, then it is okay.”

Tauqeer Raza also expressed his opinion on the opposition of BJP’s allies on this issue. He said that “This is CM Yogi’s compulsion, because an atmosphere is being created against him in Delhi. The biggest misfortune of our country is that the person who proves himself to be an enemy of Muslims is considered a big leader. When he was removed from Delhi, he started controlling Muslims to prove himself to be the biggest leader of Hindus.”

Let us tell you that the Supreme Court has put an interim stay on the nameplate order of the Yogi government. A notice was also issued to Uttar Pradesh in this regard. The government has filed its reply in the Supreme Court, presenting its side, in which it was said that for the peaceful conduct of the Kanwar Yatra, hotels, dhabas and shopkeepers on the Kanwar route were ordered to install nameplates.
