Jio and Airtel recharge plan prices have increased from today, know how much extra it will cost you?

New Delhi. From July 3, Jio and Airtel users will have to pay more for their recharge plans. Both telecom giants announced the price hike last month. The new prices apply to prepaid, top-up and postpaid plans, affecting a total of 19 Jio plans. Reliance Jio’s cheapest prepaid plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 155, is now available for Rs 189. Jio’s entry-level plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 155, will now be available for Rs 189, which will offer 2GB data for 28 days. Mid-range plans have also seen a significant increase. The plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 479, will now be available for Rs 579, which will offer 1.5GB daily data for 56 days. Another popular plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 666, will now be available for Rs 799, which will offer 1.5GB data per day.

For users who want more data, the Rs 999 plan has been increased to Rs 1199 and offers 3GB data per day. The price of long-term plans has also increased; the 336-day plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 1559, will now cost Rs 1899 and offer 24GB data per day. The one-year plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 2999, will now cost Rs 3599 and offer 2.5GB data per day.

Airtel has also increased the price of its plans like Jio. The cheapest Airtel plan, which was Rs 179, will now be available for Rs 199, which will provide 2GB data per day for 28 days. The 84-day plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 455, will now be available for Rs 509. The Rs 479 plan has been increased to Rs 579, which will provide 1.5GB data per day for 56 days. Another 84-day plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 719, will now be available for Rs 859. The one-year plan, which was earlier priced at Rs 1799, will now be available for Rs 3599, which will provide 2GB data per day.

Vodafone India price hike

Vodafone India is also going to hike its prices from tomorrow, July 3. The details of Vodafone’s new prices have not been released yet, but users can expect a similar increase in their recharge plans. These price hikes are expected to impact millions of users across India, who will now have to pay more for their mobile data and call services.
