Semiconductors Jio Things, a subsidiary of Jio Platforms, and MediaTek have jointly launched a country-made ‘Internet of Things’ (IOT) platform for the two-wheeler electric vehicle market. The statement said that this platform will provide ‘smart digital clusters’ and ‘smart modules’ specially designed for the two-wheeler market. Jio Platforms President and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Kiran Thomas said, “Jio Things is happy to collaborate with MediaTek to revolutionize the automotive industry. By integrating MediaTek’s chipsets with our cutting-edge digital solutions, we will set new standards. Big discount on Jio AirFiber connection
Reliance Jio will not charge an installation fee of Rs 1,000 for taking AirFiber connection till August 15. Sources associated with the company said that this will give up to 30 percent discount on the entry-level plan. The company added more than 11 lakh new AirFiber connections across India in the June 2024 tax quarter. The source said, “Jio will waive the installation fee of Rs 1,000 on all plans from July 26 to August 15. This will be a 30 percent discount on JioAirFiber plans for entry-level plans.” He said that customers taking Jio AirFiber connection will have to pay for at least three months. The company offers monthly, quarterly, half-yearly and annual plans based on download speed limit in different price ranges.
